    Excellent article and first response from Carl. I read the other article first and have posted a short reply pointing out that the abolition of the monarchy is my main desire. I buck the trends with the stats as I am aged 68 and definitely want the monarchy confined to their corrupt history. I remember the xxxxshow that was the investiture in Caernarfon in 1969. I was living in Bangor at the time and didn’t go (along with my mam who was Irish).

    All well and good Jeremy but, for me, first and foremost is the UK becoming a Republic. I have also joined the Republic movement and that is my priority as I have always opposed the corrupt institution that is the British Monarchy for so many reasons that are too many to document here. They are entitled, privileged and treat people all around the world as mere subjects or, even worse, as “serfs” to their disgraceful regime. Independence for Wales is also a great desire of mine but getting rid of the monarchy is more important!
