Membership & Communication Officer

YesCymru Cyf, the non-party political campaign dedicated to achieving independence for Wales, is looking for a hands-on Membership & Communication Officer. 

Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at YesCymru and so make a real contribution to the achievement of independence for Wales through a range of activities to make the case that Wales, like so many other nations throughout the world, would be better running its own affairs as part of a wider European and International family. 

Job:
You will actively engage our members, develop our local groups, help run our campaigns, and further expand and inspire our Membership, whilst also ensuring the smooth running of our organisation, with scope for further expansion of the role. You will report directly to our National Governing Body (Board of Directors) and working the equivalent of at least 3 days/week from home, with occasional travel across Wales,

Salary & Hours:
Part Time, minimum 3 days per week
£25,000 - £30,000 pro-rata, based on skills and experience.

You:
You will have an understanding of membership management, community organising, or volunteer coordination, preferably within a political or nonprofit organisation. You will have effective communication and people skills, the ability to engage and inspire individuals from diverse backgrounds and will be able to communicate both orally and in writing to a good standard in Welsh and English. 

A formal qualification or direct experience in a relevant field (e.g., political science, communications, nonprofit management) would be advantageous.
