To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Welsh moral philosopher, Nonconformist minister and mathematician, born Llangeinor, Bridgend, YesCymru proudly announces its inaugural St Davids Day Lecture on Dr Richard Price FRS

'The right to choose our own Government; to cashier them for misconduct; and to frame a Government for ourselves.'

The lecture will be given by Huw L Williams; Reader in Political Philosophy, who said of Dr Price; “Price spoke out against the crown, slavery and chauvinistic nationalism. He advocated equality, democratic principles and civic nationalism” 

The lecture will take place at STEAM Academy, Pencoed, CF35 5LG on Saturday March 4th at 6.30pm.

This event will be supported by the Garw Valley History Society and will feature their Richard Price Exhibition which includes a wealth of material including photographs and copies of his original work.
