March for Independence

March for Independence - Aberystwyth

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the March for Independence in Aberystwyth on Saturday 26 September 2026.

As always, it will be a family-friendly day full of positivity, colour, and hope. Don’t forget your flags, banners, placards, posters and whistles!

TIME: 1pm - March starts. (Meet from 11am)
WHERE: Castle Gardens, Aberystwyth

MARCH ROUTE

Approx 1 Mile: Castle Gardens > Great Darkgate Street > Owain Glyndŵr Square > Terrace Road > Marine Terrace > New Promenade > Castle Gardens.

INDY WALES RALLY - Following the March

Following the march there will be a Rally at Castle Gardens from around 2pm, with a large stage and screen, speakers and music.

There will also be an "Indy Market" at Castle Gardens from 10am to 4pm, with organisations promoting their causes and plenty of Indy merch on offer.
